I believe the key to creating and maintaining a functioning democracy is to have a well-informed electorate. That is my guiding principle and the pinnacle of what news should be. I strive every day to produce a newscast that will give voters the best ideal of what they want in government.
I also believe informing the public of any dangers, threats, events, or in general 'happenings' that occur in or near the viewing area.
